Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's Day we just basically spent a relaxing day together as a family.


Jeff bought me a cute gift basket with all kinds of goodies in it--chocolate, a stuffed bear, and Starbucks coffee!



I tried to do something different and original for the boys. The local Red Cross chapter was hosting a fundraiser. You could purchase a Valentine with a personal message on it that would be put on a stick and placed in your yard. So I got one for Jeff and Grant. All in all, we had a nice relaxing day.

2 Months Old

Here are some pictures of Grant posing with his bear for his 2-month-old photo. Grant has started smiling, which has totally melted his parent's hearts!

Grant also had his 2-month-old doctor's appointment yesterday. The doctor said that Grant looked "perfect" and that he was growing well. Grant weighed 10 pounds, 12 ounces and was almost 21 inches long. Unfortunately, Grant had to get three shots yesterday as he received his first rounds of immunizations. Thankfully the nurse was very quick. Grant was actually taking nap before his shots. He was not happy to be woken up by being stuck by needles! Grant cried a little bit, but mostly just wimpered for a few hours. He was truly such a trooper! By the next morning, he was back to his smiley self.
